Business Development Manager (Retail Sales)

Role Objective:

The BDM will be the primary architect of Axldrone’s retail footprint. Your goal is to build, lead, and scale a high-performance retail sales organization from the ground up in Kochi and surrounding regions. You will be responsible for hitting aggressive revenue targets through dealer acquisition, retail partnerships, and direct-to-consumer strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in scaling a retail network and consistently hitting 100%+ of sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: While drone experience is a plus, a background in Consumer Durables (Croma, Reliance Digital types), Agri-Tech, or Telecom is highly valued.
  • Language: Fluency in Hindi  and English is mandatory for the Kochi market.

  • The "Hustler" Mindset: A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and rapid growth.
  • Negotiation: Ability to close high-value deals with regional distributors.
  • Tech Enthusiast: Must be able to explain complex drone specs (flight time, payload, sensor types) in simple retail terms.
